Paper progress

I got this idea from Erika - I had a major paper to write, and wanted to just do it. So I figured I'd track my progress, then I started having fun doing so, and thought maybe I would post it in case anyone was interested! ( I had written the 218 words a few days ago.)

[Gryphon, this is the paper on the English conflict with Spain and the Armada I was reading about a couple weeks ago!]

15:55 - at 218 words
16:00 - at 321 words
16:05 - at 466 words
16:10 - at 598 words
16:15 - at 727 words
16:20 - at 901 words
16:25 - at 1,009 words
16:30 - at 1,128 words
16:35 - at 1,223 words
16:40 - at 1,351 words
16:45 - at 1,498 words
16:50 - at 1,632 words
16:55 - at 1,804 words
17:00 - at 1,915 words
17:05 - at 2,042 words
17:10 - at 2,142 words
17:15 - at 2,300 words
17:17 - at 2,355 words

2,137 words in 82 minutes = average wpm is 26 <-- this made me happy :-)

Last night at midnight I had a paper due on the 1st Amendment/Establishment Clause rights and restrictions, specifically precedent-setting Supreme Court cases dealing with neutral government programs to religious institutions. This paper is due Tuesday. I have another one due Friday, dealing with Irenaeus and heresies. Good stuff! :-) [I have no idea if y'all are interested in any of this stuff; if it's horrifically boring and/or you don't think it's appropriate blogging material, feel free to say so and ... I might write a paper about that, too! haha]

  1. BORING!? Are you kidding!?
You should post the entire paper! I know I would absolutely benefit from some college level goods.
While you are at it feel free to start a conversation on the English fleet and the Spanish Armada. (I know I am biased, but I am also the first poster, so let the good stuff roll)

  3. In all seriousness, would you mind posting your papers? For those of us who have a hard time doing such things, they're a good source of HOW to do them at a college level. Thanks! :) And I think that they would be excellent blogging material!

  4. Well ... you are assuming that my papers are a good example of college writing! But I'll post it when it's done - for now I have it drafted (as can be seen from above), but still have to cite all my statements! (As it stands now, it's a pretty piece of literary fiction or something ...) It's due tomorrow at midnight, so I guess I'll post it around then!
